Remember how Libby “rode with the thunder?” In that post, she introduced us to the motorcycle ministry—motorcyclists who express their spirituality and generosity by supporting good causes with their time and effort. This is opposed to the Hell’s Angels element of motorcyclists. (Yes, the Hell’s Angels are still roaring around.)
Anyway, Libby’s first novel, Port of Refuge, introduces the reader to both light and dark motorcycle elements. In this novel, we meet “Ruth,” who, through youth and innocence, sets herself up for disaster; then weaves her way from the outlaw world to the love and kindness of the motorcycle ministry.
Libby’s first novel took eight years of tenacity and resilience to complete. But now, she’s roaring away as an author. Port of Refuge is the first book in a trilogy. Her second novel, Listening is due out soon, and her third novel is already started.
Want to meet Libby’s character, Ruth, and learn more about the motorcycle ministry? Just look for Port of Refuge, on Amazon, or go to Libby’s website: LibbyTaylorAuthor.com.
Her books sound really interesting! Let’s invite her to our book club!!!
Three cheers for GCW’s own “Motorcycle Mama!”
