Mary Jones is writing the biography of her husband, Carl. When Mary speaks of Carl, her eyes shine. This is what she says:
“My Carl is the most amazing man! He’s 80-years-old now, and he has struggled with Parkinson’s Disease for 15 years—but nothing holds him back. He spent his career as a peace officer—not a policeman, but an investigator who worked undercover to trap unsavory business people who regularly scammed their customers.
Carl tells such funny stories of his life…I don’t want to think to myself, someday: I wish I would have written that down; so I do! Carl is a calm, peaceful soul; but fun-loving. He restored Model-A’s for 40 years. We’ve had such fun in those cars!
The title of my book will be: One for the Record Books! I can’t think of a better way to describe the love of my life!
Thank you, Mary, from all of us, for sharing your love on Christmas Day. You are what this website is all about!
How beautiful… and spreading that deep love is so very generous.
Mary is a wonderful example of unconditional love and affection….She and Carl are both lucky to have each other.
I look forward to reading her book about him. Merry Christmas to all.!
