Susan Johnson Discovers Her Artistic Creativity

There are many ways to be creative.  Susan Johnson’s accomplishments at her job always revealed her ability to think out-of-the-box (a street was named after her when she left!) Still, when it came to artistic creativity, she thought of herself as a “no-talent.”

Then, someone invited her to a “Stamping Class.” It was fun and easy, requiring nothing but the assembly of card pieces. One class followed another. As her confidence grew, Susan veered away from prefab patterns.

Now, Susan’s  original ideas wake her in the middle of the night. She dreams of unique greeting cards, of course, but also gift bags, bottle tags, table decorations, fun-fold cards–and recently, counting books for her grandchildren!

Furthermore, clever friends are drawn to Susan’s house every week, just to create pretty things!

Then, last fall, Susan’s family christened her a true artist, by presenting her with a paper storage unit, in which to store her multitude of artistic materials.

Susan, you are proof that artistic creativity can lie dormant, just waiting to burst into bloom!
