But Cheryl’s natural talent is honed by a lifetime of effort. She started singing as a small child. Then, after high school choir, she pursued seven years of classical voice training. (“Classical” means opera!) In the early years of her professional singing career she performed six nights a week, sometimes temporarily losing her voice. Then, to become more comfortable on stage, Cheryl sang weekly to a class of third graders.

Wow – I just watched your Night and Day song on youtube! You sing with such a rich and warm and inviting voice – really pulled me into the feeling and mood! My dad used to play that song on piano and it brings back memories. Thanks for sharing your music.
