Rita Foster says: “It’s Never Too Late to Dance!”

“I was injured when I sold my dance studio and retired, so I thought that was it!” Rita Foster’s bright smile and slender, athletic body makes it easy to imagine her dancing. “But six years after I retired, out of the blue, the new owner of the dance studio called and asked if I’d like to drop in and teach her students a dance or two. I couldn’t get there fast enough!”

Pictured here, Rita leads a tap dance routine she choreographed and taught, step-by-step, on a recent visit to her old dance studio. “It brings back such fun memories!” she says.

That’s no surprise. Back in the day, Rita performed with a dance troupe in fancy hotels—six times in Japan, three or four times in South America, and a few times in Las Vegas! Then she taught dance in her own studio for 30 years, choreographing the dances and even sewing fancy costumes!

Hey Rita! You’re a perpetual dancer!
