Rebecca Fuller says, “Right this way!”

One Tuesday, a friend and I had breakfast at Sweetpeas in Auburn. There, right inside the door, was a beautiful display of “girlie” things. That was my introduction to Rebecca Fuller: Avon representative, seamstress, and craftswoman, par excellence!

Exploring the glittering treasures was such fun! The price tags were so reasonable (starting at $5.) I looked at every earring, necklace, and ring! Yes, Avon now carries jewelry—and even clothes. I sprayed my arm with fragrances. I shopped for gifts. I even told Rebecca my beauty complaints and got her expert advice.

Along with Avon products, I coveted Rebecca’s crafts. Here she holds one of her pretty handmade towels. Notice, also, her creative Avon necklace display—fashioned with a lamp from Goodwill and a shade made from a Dollar Store wastepaper basket!

Want to become an Avon rep? Rebecca can help you with that, too.

Rebecca will be on vacation from October 8 till October 22. Otherwise, drop into Sweetpeas any Tuesday from 9 till 2—-and tell her Sheila sent you!

  1. I really admire you Rebecca and it is so nice that Sweetpeas lets you show your beautiful things at their location. I will keep Tuesdays in mind if or when I get to Sweetpeas for a meal.

Hi Rebecca! Good to see you . .. .haven’t seen you for ages! For readers, Rebecca is a lovely, sweet lady and has given me many wonderful Avon items to take to the moms at Acres of Hope! My friend Theresa, in Grass Valley introduced Rebecca to me and she’s a “super duper” Avon lady!! Very kind, generous, and accommodating! I’ll see you one of these days, Rebecca! Gotta have breakfast at Sweet Pea’s again soon!

    1. Hi Janice, thank you so much! You and Theresa both bring such joy and I wish I could socialize more! We should let Sheila know how creative you and Theresa are if she doesn’t already!

  3. My 1st job as a teen in the early 70s was an Avon lady going door to door. I sure wish I still had all those vintage bottles.

    1. When I was growing up, my mother’s cousin, Myrtle, sold Avon. Myrtle would come visit and bring Mom’s orders. Mom bought all the cars for my brother. He loved that collection! I still have Avon jewelry I’ve had since I was a little girl and it has really stood up to the test of time.
